Development of 2 dimension information inquiry module for river channel information service system of the Yangtze river

Main functions and characteristics of the 2-D information inquiry module of the Yangtze River Channel Information Service System are presented in this paper.The module applied several ideas and technologies for interconnecting and buffer area to the inquiry system,resulting in not only simplifying the system's functions,but also satisfying user's requirements of real-time and random information inquiry about design flood level,river bank utilization,etc.The system can meet the requirement of inquiring into basic attributes and integratively utilize information stored in the data base through some specific menus and creative function designs.This system has characteristics of high efficiency,all-round function,strong applicability,and is convenient for its application.
