Christian Huygens was a pioneer of Probability Theory.Huygens' treatise is th e first published work on probability theory.The work is an important turning po i nt in the development history of probability theory.The work introduced the co n cept of expectation,replaced previously numerical results about probabilit y theory by systemizing,formulating and generalizing the problem firstly,and fo und Huygens ' analytical method.Up to now the thoughts about probability in these problem s still have far-reaching significance on the modern mathematical creativity.
