摘要
布什政府执政6年来，中美关系总体上发展平稳，两国在经济、国际政治等领域的合作不断加深。由于美国对中国的发展采取“两面下注”的政策，中美关系的复杂性增加。妥善处理两国间涉及国家核心利益、经济领域的现实利益以及社会制度和价值观念等根本性问题，有助于中美关系的进一步稳定和发展。
The overall China-US relations have developed steadily since the Bush Administration came to power 6 years before. Cooperation between the two countries in economic and international political areas keeps constantly growing. As the US adopts a 'hedging' policy to China's development, China-US relationship has become more complicated. To properly handle some basic problems that touch on the national core interests, actual interests in economic area and those interests related to social systems and values , will be conductive to further stability and development of that relationship.
