中西“文化DNA”观照下的现代教育——从大学英语课堂学生参与谈起

Modern Education in The Light of The Chinese and Western Culture

本文试从文化的角度来分析中国大学英语课堂中令人堪忧的学生参与现状产生的原因,进而阐述中西“文化DNA”(Deoxyribonucleicacid,本文借指中西传统文化)对现代教育的影响以及应如何对待中西传统文化。

This paper tries first to analyze, from the perspective of culture, the causes of the worrying condition of students＇ participation in English classroom activities in China＇ s colleges and universities. Then it proceeds to explain the influence of Chinese traditional culture and the traditional culture of western countries on modem education and it also offers some suggestions on dealing with this problem.
