英语教改中应加强背景文化的渗透

Enhancing the Infiltration of Background Culture in English--Teaching Reform

语言是文化的载体，学习语言离不开文化这一土壤。作为现代英语教与学的结果，英语学习者往往在交际中存在着语言枯涩等不少问题。必须把加强英语背景文化的渗透作为英语教学改革中的一件大事来抓；我们可以从提高对英语语言文化的认识及加强英语文学修养等方面入手，加强课内和课外的语言实际应用，以便对问题进行逐步地解决。

Language is the carrier of its culture, so language learning is connected closely to its culture. As a result of our modern English teaching, our students including most English learners still feel difficult in finding proper words in communication and have to face more other problems. To solve all these problems, we may set out to improve students＇ understanding about English culture and the standard of English literature, etc.
