Chinese-style westernization is the transitional theory of Westernization Movement in China, and it has brought a far-reaching impact in modern China. Based on British philosopher Lakatos＇ guiding principle of scientific study, this paper has done a scientific philosophy analysis of the cause, essence, and degeneration of ＂ Chinese-style westernization＂.
