Re-discriminating the Discipline Characters of "Science of Literature"

“文艺学”作为“中国语言文学”下的二级学科,其核心就是文学理论的研究。然而在学术话语中“文艺学”等概念的使用存在着相当大的混乱,这不利于学术规范和学科建设。实际上,“文艺学”、“文艺理论”、“文学理论”与“诗学”等几个概念是同一的,而文艺学、文艺美学与艺术学则是既有联系又相区别的概念。在“文艺学”合法性遭遇质疑的今天,更有必要厘定这些概念的内涵与外延。

The kernel of Science of literature, as a sub - discipline of the Chinese Literature, is the study of its literary theory. However, the use of the notions like ＂Science of Literature＂in acadenic discouse is rather chaotic, which is unfavorable both to the academic standardization and to its development. In fact, the notions of ＂Science of Literature＂, ＂Literary and Art Theory＂, ＂Literary Theory＂ and ＂Poetics＂, etc, are the same in concept, while the concepts of ＂Science of Literature＂, ＂Aesthetics of Literature and Art＂, and ＂Science of Art＂ are both correlated and different. With the legitimacy of the notion of ＂Science of Literature＂ being questioned today, it is more necessary to distinguish the connotation and the denotation of the all these notions.
