论叶圣陶的语文教材观

On Ye Shengtao's View of Chinese Language and Literature Textbook

我国现代著名教育家叶圣陶极其重视语文教材建设,他编写的语文教材数量多、质量高,深受广大师生的欢迎。他主张语文教学要以教材为凭借和例子,精心挑选文质兼美的文章,并经过科学合理的安排,真正提高学生的听说读写能力,培养他们成为合格的、健全的、善于处理工作和生活的普通公民。国家教育部颁布的《语文课程标准(实验稿)》继承和发展了叶圣陶的语文教材观,使语文教材建设呈现出百花齐放的新景象。

Ye Shengtao, a famous modern Chinese educator, attaches great importance to the construction of Chinese language and literature textbook. Due to its high quality, a large number of textbooks compiled by him is popular among teachers and students. He holds the view that in the teaching of Chinese language and literature the textbook should be used as evidence, and those fine and elegent texts need to be selected and programmed scientifically so that students＇ ability to listen, speak, read and write will be practically improved, and that students can be trained to be qualified and sound citizens who are able to deal with their work and life. The experimental version of Criteria of Chinese Language and Literature Curriculum, issued by our Ministry of Education, is just the right inheritance and development of Ye Shengtao＇s view. Therefore, the construction of Chinese language and literature textbook is caused to present a new and colorful scene.
