要对英语教学进行改革就必须以实现跨文化交际为着眼点,使学生了解中西方文化的异同,对现有的教学内容和方法进行创新,对传统的课程考核方式进行改革,培养学生的跨文化交际意识,从而形成系统的英语教学模式,培养出适应社会发展的高素质应用型人才。

To reform English teaching, we must take the realization of intercultural communication as its essential goal. It should make students understand the similarities and differences between Chinese and western cultures, bring forth new ideas in current teach- ing materials and methods, reform traditional patterns of curriculum assessment and develop students＇awareness of intercultural communication so as to form systematic English teaching model to train high - quality talents of application who keep abreast of the development of our society.
