摘要
在以“人”的感受为核心的VR应用系统中,空间一致感是实现高度“沉浸感”的基本核心要素之一。以虚拟飞行座舱系统为例,着重讨论在基于头盔显示器(HMD)的高沉浸感VR系统中,使用者在进行场景漫游和虚拟操作时的空间一致性及和谐感受的问题。通过实验和理论分析相结合的方法,详细分析影响用户空间一致感受各环节的变换原理,分析误差影响,然后针对不同类型和不同来源的误差提出了相应的校准和补偿的方法。由于该系统的典型性,得出的结论和方法在VR系统中具有很强的普遍性。
Now, more and more Virtual Reality (VR) applications and researches focus on the user's natural experience, The correct spatial perception is one of the key elements. Virtual Cockpit System (VCS) was taken as a typical model based on Head-mounted Display (HMD). Then the problems of accurate space transition and user's natural space experience were discussed when the user wandered in virtual environment and manipulated the virtual object, By using both theoretical analyses and experimental tryouts, the coordinate translation principles and the errors in each translation part were analyzed. Then the corresponding calibration and compensation methods for different errors were proposed. As the VCS system is a very typical VR system with strict spatial requirement, the methods and results can be applied to other VR systems without difficulty.
