由于历史传统和现实需要,维希政府成为德国纳粹残害犹太人的帮凶之一。首先,维希政府诬蔑犹太人,并制定了一系列限制犹太人的法令;其次,建立了完整的集中营体系以控制犹太人;第三,帮助纳粹围捕了7万多法国犹太人,其中只有2000人幸存。法国普通民众才是犹太人的保护伞。

Vichy government was the accessory of Nazi to massacre the Jews who lived in France. Firstly, Vichy government slandered the Jews, and promulgated a lot of laws and degrees; secondly, it set up 15 Internment camps to control the Jews; thirdly, it help Nazi roundup about 75,000 Jews. With the help of the common people, the Jews in France were relatively less subject to deportation than those in other European countries.
