祛痰宁００５～０４ｇ／ｋｇｉｇ及０１～０２５ｇ／ｋｇｓｃ给药有增强大小鼠气管排泌酚红的作用，其作用随剂量的增加而增强；０２～０８ｇ／ｋｇ能加强毛果芸香碱引起的小鼠流涎作用，作用随着剂量的增加而增强，０４ｇ／ｋｇ与必嗽平的作用相当；祛痰宁油０１０～０４０ｇ／ｋｇｉｇ１ｈ后能显著抑制鸡蛋清引起的足肿胀，其抑制作用随着剂量的增加而增强；０３ｇ／ｋｇｉｇ及００５ｇ／ｋｇｉｐ时对巴豆油致炎引起的鼠耳肿胀有明显的抑制作用；０１０ｇ／ｋｇｉｇ给药时对氨水刺激引起的咳嗽有止咳作用，０４０ｇ／ｋｇ的止咳作用与可待因００６ｇ／ｋｇ相当。实验结果表明祛痰宁的毒副作用小，治疗范围宽。
