摘要
本文从劳动经济学的歧视理论出发,对农民工就业歧视问题进行了分析。结果表明,西方劳动经济学的歧视理论对于我国农民工就业歧视问题的解释力并不强。我国农民工就业歧视的主要原因并不在于市场失灵,反而主要是由于政府失灵所致。解决农民工就业歧视问题,关键在于消除制度性歧视和人们心理上的歧视。
The article is focused on analyzing the problem of employment discrimination faced by the Chinese migrant rural workers using the western theories of labor market discrimination. The conclusion is that the western theories of labor market discrimination are not so powerful in explanation of the problem of employment discrimination faced by the Chinese migrant rural workers. The main cause of the discrimination is not market failure, but government failure. The key measure to solve the problem is to eradicate the distortion on labor market caused by specific government policies, and to eliminate the discrimination originated psychologically.
