摘要
利用二元树复小波变换(DT CWT)良好的方向选择性和矩阵奇异值分解(SVD)的稳定性,作者提出了一种新的特征提取方法并用于车牌汉字识别.实验证明该方法比二维实小波变换具有更好的识别效果.
A new feature extraction method is proposed based on the good directional selectivity of dual-tree complex wavelets and the stabilization of singular value of matrix and applied to car plate Chinese recognition. The experimental results demonstrate this method is more efficient in recognition than real wavelets.
