随着网络规模的扩大,网络上大量的广播信息导致网络传输效率低下,为了解决这个问题,产生了虚拟局域网技术(VLAN)。在局域网中利用VLAN技术划分不同子网,可以减小广播域范围,通过三层交换,实现不同VLAN间的相互访问,从而提高局域网的整体性能和安全性及可扩展性。文章探讨了有关VLAN的划分方法和在应用中应注意的问题,并以具体应用为例介绍VLAN在三层交换网络中的配置方法。

With the expansion of the network scale, large quantity of broadcast information causes the low efficiency in network transmission. VLAN technology comes into being to resolve this problem and is utilized to divide different sub -networks in LAN, which can reduce the broadcast scope. The communication between different VLANs can be realized through 3 - layer switching, thereby the integrated capability, security and expansibility of LAN can be improved. This paper introduces the classification methods of VLAN and the problems which deserve attention in application. It also explains the configuration method of VLAN in practice by citing an example.
