本文阐述了船舶行业企业进行质量认证的重要性和必要性；并阐明了质量认证的类别，我国企业（尤其是船舶行业企业）认证工作发展概况、认证前的准备工作、认证工作的程序和实施，并提出了注意事项和建议。
The necessity and importance of performing quality assessment to shipbuilding industrfesare discussed in the paper together with explanation on the types of assessment, current situation of thiswork in China(specially in shipbuilding industries),preparations required for starting assessment,assessingprocedures and how to do assessment as well as useful precautions and suggestions.
