Application of polarized microscopic image distinguishing in animal hair identification and its important significance on animal protection, especially on national wild animal protection are presented, meanwhile introducing the principle and techniques on polarized microscopic photography and suggesting to build a standard data bank of polarized microscopic spectrum on wild animal hair.
