There is no proof yet of safety or danger on cross- species infection in xenotransplantation till now. To examine the argument for the view that cross- species infection is irrelevant in xenotransplantation and against it respectively. Then to make a conclusion that cross- species isn＇t morally irrelevant in xenotransplantatlon. Furthermore, with the potential serious risk of crossspecies infection, a new global bioethical paradigm and a new ethical framework for clinical research on humans need to be proposed and developed.
