聚丙烯/蒙脱土纳米复合材料的热失重-红外光谱研究 被引量:2

Study of Thermal Gravimetry-Infrared Spectrum Analysis of Polypropylene/Montmorillonite Nanocomposites

摘要 采用聚丙烯接枝共聚物为相容剂,制得了聚丙烯/蒙脱土纳米复合材料。透射电镜结果显示形成了纳米结构。通过热失重-红外分析联用的方法研究了聚丙烯及其纳米复合材料在氮气气氛下的热分解行为,纳米复合材料的10%热失重温度与聚丙烯相比分别提高50℃左右,10%热失重分解时间滞后300 s左右。这说明蒙脱土片层在热分解的过程中有限制聚合物碳碳键断裂产生的挥发性分解产物从复合材料中逃逸的作用和吸附分解产物的作用。 Polypropylene/montmorillonite nanocomposites were prepared with a grafted PP as compatibilizer. The nanostructures were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) . The thermal decomposition behavior of PP and nanocomposite in N2 atmosphere were studied with thermal gravimetry-infrared spectrum (TG-IR) analysis. The temperature and the time at10% weight loss of the nanocomposites is 50℃ higher and 300 seconds later than that of the neat PP in Nz atmosphere. The results demonstrate that the MMT could be due to a barrier labyrinth effect to diffusion of degradation products from the bulk of the polymer to the gas phase and absorb the volatile product during the decomposition of the nanocomposites.
