Socialist Outlook for Honor and Dishonor:University Student Moral Criterion

胡锦涛总书记在3月4日提出的“八荣八耻”社会主义荣辱观,是中华民族优秀传统荣辱思想与时代精神的有机结合。大学生作为社会的建设者和接班人,有必要接受社会主义荣辱观教育,提高思想道德素质,形成正确的是非、善恶、美丑观念。高校作为大学生思想政治教育的主阵地,应积极探索各种途径、方式,让社会主义荣辱观融入到学生的生活和学习中。

General Secretary Hu Jintao proposes the socialist outlook for honor and dishonor about ＂eight glory eight shame＂ in March 4th, which is the organic combination of the Chinese traditional honor and today＇ s spirit. The university students are social constructors and successors. It is necessary for college students to accept the outlook for honor and dishonor education, to improve their moral quality and form a correct opinion about right and wrong. Universities, as the battle position for the university students＇ thought and political education, should positively explore every possible means to make the students familiar with the socialist outlook for nomorand dishonor.
