命名是一种文化活动,无疑与社会的发展紧密联系在一起。汉语和英语的命名习惯和命名方式不尽相同,但是命名都承载着社会的变迁和历史的变化,反映了一定时期的时代风尚和文化意义。
Name culture is important to the Chinese and the English -speaking people as well, By studying the name culture in China and that in the English - speaking world, the author intends to suggest that the fashion development and cultural dimensions are reflected in given names.
