试论文学语言与非文学语言区别的实质

On essential distinctions between literary and non-literary languages

传统观点在论及文学语言与非文学语言的区别时,大多是罗列二者在表现形式上的不同。文章认为,仅罗列二者表现形式上的不同并不能揭示出这两种语言的实质。一段文字是不是文学语言,关键看它是处于何种语境中。即使同一段文字,当它处在文学语境中的时候,它就具有了文学语言的性质,当它处在非文学语境中的时候,它就不具有文学语言的性质。因此,文学语言与非文学语言区别的实质是语境的区别。

It is a traditional practice to list the different forms of expression of literary and non - literary languages in discussing their differences. In the author opinion ,this can＇t bring to light their essence. Whether a group of words are literary language or not depends on the situation in which they appear. When they are in the literary situation , they have the quality of literary language. However, when they are in non- literary situation, they don＇t thus, their essential distinctions are ones of their situations.
