On the Theory of Discontinuance of Cultural Anthropology

文化人类学经历漫长的探索后,美国新进化论的杰出代表之一塞维斯(E·R·Service)提出了“间断理论”,该理论后经过与文化人类学已有理论反复比较、验证并结合各民族发展历程,表明它已适用于“自为体系”哲学范畴,而不适用于“随机单元”哲学范畴。

After a long exploration on cultural authropology, E.R.Service, one of the outstanding represeatatives of American New Evolutionary School, put forward the Theory of Discontintuance. After repeating comparisons and verification through cultural anthropologic theories along with the historical development of different people. it proved that the Theory of Discontinuance is applicable to the philosophical category of self-organitation, not to that of random unit.
