Into the Land——The Environment of the Scottish Parliament Building

新苏格兰议会富有创意的设计代表了一个崭新的苏格兰,不再是一个高高在上的权利的象征。新议会的外环境部分以有机的形式表达了“融于大地”的理念,并且给苏格兰人民提供了一个更加安全的表达意愿的场所。虽然设计者是西班牙人恩里克·米拉雷斯(EnricMiralles),但是苏格兰人已经把整件艺术品作为苏格兰的骄傲。

The innovative design of the Scottish Parliament represents a new Scotland rather than a symbol of power overlooking its people. The organic shapes of the Scottish Parliament landscape reflect the concept of sitting ＂into the land＂ and provide its people a safer public space to assemble. Although the designer of Scottish Parliament is Spanish Enric Miralles, Scots deem it to be the pride of Scotland.
