太行花为蔷薇科太行花属植物,作为一个中国特有属种,仅残存于太行山东缘河南、河北境内,被列为国家二级保护植物。由于呈零散分布,所占区域狭小,植株稀少,处于濒危境地。本文介绍了太行花的形态特征、生态学和生物学特征,并对这一珍稀物种更加合理的保护与开发提出了建议。

Taihanggia rupestris yu et li - a peculiar kind of rose family plant in China - survives along Taihang mountain. It is rated as the second - grade of protection plant of the nation. It is endangered due to its loose distribution, little area of spreading and very few plants, The paper is intended to make a proposal to protect and develop it rationally after intensive investi- gation into its characteristics, ecology, biology and geographical distrikution.
