全球经常项目失衡问题的实证研究

An Empirical Study on the Global Current Account Imbalances

近些年,全球经常项目失衡问题成为经济学家竞相研究的热点问题,并提出了众多不同的观点。本文利用全球范围内52个国家或地区!"1980￣2004年的经济数据对影响经常项目失衡的多种经济因素进行实证研究,就当前分析全球经常项目失衡原因中的一些经济变量对经常项目的影响程度提供了经验分析,并且对解决当前全球经常项目失衡问题提出了相关建议。

Recently, the global current account imbalances have received considerable attention and been the hot subject of enormous studies in the economics academia, among the international organizations and central banks economists, in business economies reports. This paper investigates the determinants of the current account using the empirical research which covers 50 countries or regions over a long time span （1980-2004）, and tries to test various viewpoints on the global current account imbalances by making use of the economic data. At last, this paper gives some policy analysis on the global current account imbalances based on the empirical research.
