A New Corpus-based Pattern to the Teaching of English Writing

摘要 语料库是基于大量真实的语言资料,以电子形式收集的真实语言文本数据库,利用语料库研究语言的特征已成为语料库最重要的应用之一。在外语教学领域,语料库已经成为一个热门话题并孕育着十分广阔的应用前景。写作教学是外语教学中的薄弱环节之一,语料库的兴起对写作具有重要启示,语料库在写作中的作用主要体现在作为参考工具与研究工具等方面。鼓励师生在真实的语言环境中通过自我探索,发现语言使用的规律,可以更准确地掌握和运用英语。作为一种新的写作教学模式,体现了以学生为中心的教学思想。 A corpus is a database which consists of large body of authentic linguistic materials in the form ot electronic texts. To study linguistic features of certain language is one of its most important applications and it has become a hot issue in EFL field. Writing is one of the weak aspects in EFL teaching and corpus has shown important implications for it since a corpus can be consulted as a referential tool or a study tool. The essence of a corpus for writing is to encourage students and teachers to find out the rules of language use in a authentic context. As a new pattern to the teaching of English writing, it embodies the thought of "learner-centered" way of teaching.
