摘要
多媒体外语教学研究是近年来外语界的一个热门话题,在大学英语教学领域里也引起了热烈的讨论。但迄今为止赞美之词多于批评之声。若干研究人云亦云,缺乏必要的争鸣和思辨。多媒体是一种教育辅助手段。多媒体教学的实质仍然是语言教学。研究和经验证明高超的教育技术和设备不是教学质量的唯一保证。对多媒体教学作用的盲目夸大会带来负面效应。本文主要讨论对多媒体教学思想认识上的误区及所产生的问题,包括建构主义理论对现今多媒体教学的指导作用等。
Multimedia teaching is a hot topic in recent foreign language teaching area, especially in college English teaching field. But we have heard of more praises than criticisms. We need different ideas and opinions. Multimedia is a means for education. The nature of multimedia teaching is still language teaching. Research and experience have proved that sophisticated technology and equipment cannot guarantee the quality of teaching and learning. Overstating the function of multimedia teaching will bring us some side effects. The article mainly discusses the misconceptions of multimedia teaching and their related problems, including the guidance function of constructivism on the current multimedia teaching.
