In the course of discourse comprehension, the matter of context is apt to be neglected in classroom teaching. In the field of context, this paper probes into the context connotation of discourse and its dynamic characteristics in three aspects of logic, psychology and background. And then discusses how to use the theory of context in the teaching of listening so as to improve the students＇ abilities of listening comprehension.
