The Important Conservation of The Cultural Heritage Site of Mogao Grottoes:The Duty is Sacred and Heavy while The Way Ahead is long

本文从莫高窟的自然生态环境、社会各方需求、可持续发展和管理创新四个方面,提出了莫高窟在今后的保护中应思考、注重和研究的一系列问题。

This article put forward a serial questions existing in the conservations on the heritage site of Mogao Grottoes at Dunhuang that worth to reconsideration and laying emphasis on the studying in the future. The topic of the conservation tasks are stated by following four panels: 1.The nature landscape relations and interactions between organisms and their environment of Mogao Grottoes; 2. Responsibility to meet the requirements of the times and social needs; 3. Continuous trend of development; 4. The creation ability of site managers of the heritage site.
