Design Optimization of Plastics Injection Mold Gate Location Based on MoldFlow

结合塑料水杯和手机面板两个实例,介绍利用MoldFlow强大的分析功能,对产品进行浇口位置分析。在此基础上进行产品初步成形分析,在发现产品外观质量、强度、整体变形等方面存在的缺陷后,对浇口位置重新进行优化设计,最终获得了较为满意的浇口位置。

Taking the plastic cup and the phone panel as an example, this paper presents strong analytid function of MoldFlow and takes a analysis of most optimal Gate Location. On the basis, the initial moulding of panel has been done. With the exposure of defects in the following aspects： appearance quality, intensity and unitary deformation, an optimal design of gate location is newly done, and finally we can get a more satisfactory and reasonable Gate Location.
