Anti-essentialism and Narrative Transmutation

随着当代反本质主义思潮的兴起与“宏大叙事”的瓦解,叙事透明性和启蒙合法性受到普遍质疑。西方古典叙事摆脱不了主客对立逻辑,试图以准确的语言穿透叙事的隔离达到本质,形成基于认知客体的知识论启蒙模式;中国传统叙事抛开言意对立,以主体境界回避知识客体,形成基于认知主体的道德论启蒙模式。反本质主义对启蒙叙事的清理,昭示着当代叙事将转向以主体关照为主的人生实践。

With the rise of the current anti-essentialist trend of thoughts and the breakup of ＂grand narrations＂, narrative transparency and legality of enlightenment are under universal skepticism. The western classical narratives, entangled by subjectobject antithetical logic, endeavors with lingual accuracy to pierce into the insulation of narration to reach nature and form an enlightening mode of knowledge theory based on the object of cognition. China＇s traditional narrative puts aside the antithesis of words and their meanings, with subject evading object of knowledge, and forms an enlightening mode of moral theory. Anti-essentialism＇s rearranging of enlightening narration reveals that the current narratives will transform to life practice which focuses on subject.
