The industrial selection is one of the most important methods to accelerating the economic development in undeveloped countries and areas. It reviews and remarks on the present theory of industrial selection, and then points out the rising important influence of technology factor on the industrial selection along with the globalization and trade freedom. Because of the complicated relationship between technology factor and industry, it builds and industrial selection structure including the analysis of technology factors, and then focuses on how to analyze technology chain when making industrial selection.
