频域变换图像压缩算法研究及比较

Research of and comparison between the algorithms of image compression based on transformation of frequency domain

以图像压缩编码技术作为研究对象,主要讨论频域变换图像压缩编码中有代表性的FFT编码、DCT编码、小波变换等的算法,并采用MATLAB程序语言验证各种的算法。程序实现输入不同压缩比,得到相应的压缩图像,并计算图像的均方误差、信噪比,通过对不同压缩比产生的不同效果进行比较分析,得到这些算法的性能比。

The algorithms of image compression, such as FFT, DCT and Wavelet Transformation, are studied, and the language of MATLAB is employed to verify their efficiency. When different compression ratios are inputted, the corresponding compressed images, mean square error （MSE） and signal to noise ratio （SNR） are obtained. The results are compared to gain the performance ratios of the algorithms.
