对地理环境决定论是“资产阶级地理思想”提出质疑。并对人与自然关系进行系统梳理和反思:(1)地理环境决定论产生并发展于东西方两个伟大时代;(2)地理环境决定论在近代受到的批判是误解所致;(3)地理环境决定论大大丰富了历史唯物主义。提出地理环境决定论是人类优秀文化遗产。

Nowadays, people have given up the thought that the determinism of geographic environment is bourgeois idea, but they still take it as a metaphysical idea. This kind of attitude is wrong. This paper holds that Determinism of Geographic Environment is Precious Cultural Heritage of the World. （1） Determinism of Geographic Environment was formed and developed in two great era： The Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States of China and ancient Greece. （2） It was criticized just because of misunderstanding in modern times. （3） Determinism of Geographic Environment enriches the content of the historical materialism.
