This paper takes from the exchange rate elesticity of trade balance and analyses the influence of the devaluation of domestic currencies upon the trade balance in the situation of multi-type import and export commodities. The paper deduces the conditions for the devaluation of domestic currencies to improve the trade balance under the above circumstance through the fineness of traditional models.
