The system of dialectical materialism and historical materialism is a result of Soviet debate on theories of society and socialist transformation after the October Revolution. Mitin and Stalin played a key role in establishing this system. Although its basic thought, a rational spirit, isn＇t outdated, some important philosophical thoughts of Marx and Engels still aren＇t included. It is essential to reconstruct the Marxist philosophical system according to the human-oriented need of building the harmonious society.
