中国西北部的丝绸之路段是岩彩画的故乡,现代日本岩彩画的主要技法可以在敦煌,克孜尔找到原始的踪迹。可是,我们还在盲目地向日本学习,通过深入地了解,我们这些旅日画家感到一种神圣的使命,就是赶快去西域,去找寻原属于我们的岩彩绘画的艺术真谛。经过寻根溯源,重现唤起和复兴中国的岩彩画艺术。

The Silk Road in Northwest of China is the hometown of rock - color paintings. The original trace of skills of Japanese rock - color paintings can be found in Dunhuang and Kizil. But we are still learning the skills from Japanese blindly. Because of more understanding about it, we feel anxious to go to the Western Region to search for true essense of our own paintings. By searching for the origion of rock - color paintings, we want to resurge the paintings in China.
