The paper surveys the doctor-patient relationship from a sociological perspective, clarifies that the doctor-patient contradiction is a social problem, appeals to construct the social stability mechanism, and then discusses the ways of constructing a harmonious doctor-patient relationship from such aspects as perfecting social norms, guiding social values and establishing social evaluation system.
