CATV network operators need to choose a method to determine the node size to get an adequate capacity of two-way network, when providing more and more users new digital services. The fiber-optical transmission equipment developed by using proprietary optical prc-distortion technology both meets operators' needs in expanding capacity and ensures system end to end performance. It also greatly reduces the cost of upgrading the network.
