Investigation on the Method of Knowledge Acquisition in an Expert System of Vibration Fault Diagnosis of Rotating Machinery

Studies have been made on the following topics for an expert system of fault diagnosis of rotating machinery: the principle of knowledge acquisition, the initialization and perfection in its knowledge base and the function of specialized objective knowledge in the system. A mathematical model for acquiring specialized objective knowledge according to dustering analysis method and the tactics in acquiring knowledge for the system are also presented in the paper.
