The Characteristics of Three European Universities:Student's Growth,History and Tradition,Elite Cultivation——A Case Study of Three Universities in Norway,Holland and France

在实地考察欧洲高校的基础上,本文以挪威、荷兰和法国三所大学为例描述了欧洲大陆高校的办学特色,即:挪威科技大学通过“研究生做学习辅导员”和“跨学科行动”关注学生的学业和人生成长;荷兰莱顿大学精心维系中世纪传统,构建神圣学术殿堂;法国巴黎高等师范学校坚守“小而美”的办学规模,秉承师徒制,精心培养社会精英。

Based on a fieldtrip to Europe, this essay summarizes the characteristics of three universities.Norwegian University of Science and Technology： attach importance to students＇ llfe growth rather than just the improvement of academic achievement through ＂learning assistants＂ and ＂expert-in-team projects＂; Leiden University of Holland： keep the academic traditional buildings and atmosphere of middle ages; Ecole Normale Superieure： insist on the idea of ＂small is beautiful＂ and cultivating elites on a small scale.
