A method of digit analysis used in call handling of SPC switching system is introduced. The advantages and problems of this method in application are discussed and an improved method of digit analysis is presented. The new method of digit analysis has the following advantages: analysis easy and fast, no limit to the number of digits to be analysed, and no limit to the setting sequence of analysis data.
