对增刊的再认识——以厦门大学学报(自然科学版)增刊为例

Reevaluation of the supplementary issue—Based on the supplementary issues of Xiamen University Journal (Natural Science Edition)

介绍有目的、有方向,以约稿方式出版增刊的做法。以此种方式刊登的研究论文整体质量较好,且某一学科论文可得到较集中地展示。读者可以通过印刷版阅览,也可以通过期刊网进行浏览和检索。实践证明,只要充分开发、利用好增刊资源,增刊同样能为高校的教学、科研、人才培养发挥作用。

This paper introduces the practice of publishing supplementary issues by way of making arrangements in advance with writers for their contributions on some special fields. Research papers published in this way are generally of good quality, and various papers focused on one special subject can be presented collectively. Readers can read them through the printed issues of hard copies and also go over them through the Internet. Our practice shows that so long as we make full use of the resources of our periodicals, our supplementary issues can also play an important role in teaching, research and education of personnel for the university.
