The Recent Progress of Photonic Crystal Fiber

光子晶体光纤(POF)与普通光纤在光纤结构、单模特性、色散特性和非线性特性等方面有着显著的差别。简要分析PCF的原理,并探讨其重要特性以及应用价值,最后回顾了近来PCF的研究进展。

Photonic crystal fibers （PCF） are quite different from standard optical fibers in fiber structure,mode property, dispersion and nonlinearity. In this paper, theory,important properties and applications, and recent advances of these fibers will be presented.
