妇女参政是现代民主体制的应有之意,男女平等参政也是衡量社会进步的重要标志。随着经济的发展、法律的完善,当代中国妇女参政的法律地位得到明显提高;但受传统文化、妇女自身素质低下等因素的制约,妇女参政在现实领域的实施困难重重。因此,中国政府在完善立法的基础上,更新观念、建立先进的性别文化、提高妇女参政能力,从而为实现男女平等、推动妇女参政奠定基础。

It is modem democratic systematic meaning that women participate in political affairs, it is an important sign to weigh social progress for equality of men and women to participate in political affairs. With the economic development, completion of legislation, the legal status that contemporary Chinese women participate in government and political affairs is obviously improved, but limited by traditional culture, woman＇s one＇s own low quality, make it beset with difficulties in implementation of the realistic fields, is fettering Chinese women＇ s political rights of exercising. So, on the basis of improving legislation, Chinese Government break with the conventional idea, set up advanced sex culture, raise woman participation in government and political affairs ability to realize equality of men and women, promote woman participation in government and political affairs key point.
