The Characteristics and Status of Hebei Province in History of Science and Technology of China

河北既是研究科学技术起源的首选之地,也是探索文化融合与科学技术关系的珍贵标本,还是考察政治、经济与文化的中心辐射与科学技术发展的有效对象。本文谨就河北科技史的特色与地位做一框架或大纲式的勾勒。

The characteristics and status of Hebei province in history of science and technology of China and even the world, are determined by long history, gorgeous regional culture and special geographical location. Hebei province is not only the principal region to study the origin of science and technology, but a rare sample to search for the relation between culture amalgamation and the development of science and technology, and an efficient subject to review the function of radiation from the center of politics, economy and culture to the development of science and technology. Of provinces of China, Hebei province is flourishing and in first class in history of technology and science. Whereas, there arent even a systematical, entirely and profound study refer to history of science and technology of Hebei province. In view of this the thesis is just an initial and outline research.
