The Social Control System in a Hani Village

一个远离政治文化中心,村民法律意识十分淡薄的哈尼族山寨,却维持着有条不紊的良好秩序。通过深入细致的田野调查,发现该村寨形成了一个由传统的家庭(家族)、咪谷和现代的村民委员会、党小组及村小等组成的组织严密、分工明确的村落社会控制组织体系,这一社会控制模式在哈尼族村寨具有一定的典型性和代表性。

In a small Hani village, the residents have little legal consciousness and but maintain a good order, though far away from political center. How is the order maintained？ Through a field survey, we have discovered that this village has developed an effective social control system. This kind of social control model is very popular in the Hani villages.
