中国铁通:立足铁路专网,开展特色业务

China Railcom:based on the railroad network,the company strives to develop unique services

中国铁通集团有限公司的前身是铁道通信信息有限责任公司，成立于2000年12月26日，共有省级分公司31个，系国有大型基础电信运营企业。2004年1月20日，经国务院批准，由铁道部移交国资委管理，更名为“中国铁通集团有限公司”（以下简称“中国铁通”）。2004年6月，中国铁通被国资委列为董事会试点企业。

China Railcom Group Co. Ltd was originally known as Railway Telecommunication Information LLC, which was founded on December 26th 2000. The company had 31 provincial branches, and it was a nationally owned major basic telecommunication operator. On January 20th 2004, the company, after approval from the State Council, was transferred from the ministry of the railway to the national asset committee, and the company name was changed to ＂China Railcom Group Co. Ltd＂ （hercinafter referred to as ＂China Railcorn＂）. In June 2004, China Railcom was named as a trial enterprise to have a board of direclors bv the national asset committee.
