悦耳动听的背景音乐,能把学生带进宽松愉悦的学习环境,从而为课堂教学营造一种浓厚的学习氛围,以此拨动学生的心弦,荡起思维的火花,使学生以最佳状态投入学习。文章从暗示教学法的理论指导出发,论述了利用背景音乐在英语泛读课程中的可行性及其优势,同时基于作者英语专业泛读课程教学的实践经验,提出了实际应用背景音乐时应该注意的问题。

Pleasant background music can provide a relaxing and comfortable environment to the students so that they can study at ease and bring their potential into full play. The present paper starts with the theory of Suggestopedia, which supports the use of the background music in class and goes on to confirm the feasibility and advantages of its application. Finally, the paper puts forward some suggestions based on the teaching experience in background music application in English extensive reading class.
